Wijnne Barends offers more than 15,000 square metres of sheltered storage at Beatrixhaven in the Eemshaven (the Short Sea Basin). Located directly by the sea (the Eems) the port can handle ships transporting cargo to and from the European ports thereby saving about six hours sailing. The Wijnne Barends’ quay in the Eemshaven extends to 400 metres.  Three 100-metre ships can be handled simultaneously along this quay.

The Eemshaven provides the perfect alternative to the harbours of Rotterdam, Hamburg and Antwerp. Not only are prices lower, the service is better too. Moreover, the Eemshaven is not congested, so ships save time and money.
