Wijnne Barends’ young and well-maintained fleet is tailored seamlessly to market requirements. High cubic and multi purpose, our fleet currently comprises more than 30 vessels, about half of which are owned by Wijnne Barends. They are mostly series of sister ships and of tonnage classes.  It enables us to address market needs as and when they arise. We always have a ship in position to meet your demand promptly and efficiently.

An ambitious and comprehensive construction schedule has been agreed for implementation over the next few years. Not only will we expand our fleet in numbers, but in capacity as well. There are construction projects for eight 3500 ton ships and six 8000 ton ships in cooperation with captain-owners. The new ships will meet all of the strict requirements that apply to the transport of hazardous goods. The addition of the 8000 ton ships to its fleet will enable Wijnne Barends to step up its transatlantic transport activities.
