We would like to share our thoughts with you on the entire process from manufacturer to consumer and offer comprehensive logistic advice and optimisation regarding the flow of goods to our clients, both on the ground and in administration.

Our customers choose Wijnne Barends Logistics out of conviction, because time is money. Before an improvement process that we carried out, ships were sometimes loading bulk cargoes for 2 to 3 days. Due to the relatively short sailing time to the buyers and including the unloading time the effect of the loading time in relation to the sailing time had an unacceptable impact on the costs of the whole route. At Wijnne Barends Logistics a change was implemented in the loading methods causing both the lading time and the berthing time of the ship to be radically cut, by using our mobile crane.  In this way we can now load the cargo of a coaster carrying bulk products within a timeframe of 6 to 8 hours.

As a consequence of our efficient planning we ensure that loading begins as soon as the ship is docked in the harbour. Waiting times are avoided as much as possible. This is very attractive in terms of both costs and planning. Furthermore we provide our customers with the possibility of storing their products in our well-equipped warehouse. We have a large surface area available for inside and outside storage in the form of hangars and heavy load areas. Naturally Wijnne Barends ensures an accurate and speedy handling of the administration and the customer has full insight into all details concerning their products.
